The crowd rose to their feet as Aureliano Negro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Val Mac Millan. That made the score 3-0 in the 10 minute of play. After some careless play in the Magallanes defense, Aureliano Negro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Val Mac Millan. The Magallanes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Val Mac Millan should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the match, Aureliano Negro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Val Mac Millan. Magallanes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aureliano Negro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With a little luck, Magallanes's Val Mac Millan got control of the ball when Aureliano Negro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Magallanes's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Segio came free, but Val Mac Millan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Val Mac Millan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Nikola in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Negro in the 46th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Val Mac Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-0.

Val Mac Millan came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Teofilo Oxarra. But to his dismay, Teofilo Oxarra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Val Mac Millan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilfredo Nikola's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Val Mac Millan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Segio in the 55th minute of the match. Wilfredo Nikola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Val Mac Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Rose Encina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magallanes's Val Mac Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Nikola in the 58th minute of play. In the 59th minute Luciano Segio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Val Mac Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rose Encina charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
