The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Val Mac Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry White, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Val Mac Millan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Ewertowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Barry White left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goral Zywiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Barry White took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Val Mac Millan. Val Mac Millan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 22 played minutes Goral Zywiec got a freekick which was hit by Barry White. A collision led to Magallanes getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Christian Aravena hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Barry White shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Val Mac Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aníbal Aguacero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Krawczyk having to interfere. Magallanes's Val Mac Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorino Frederik in the 38th minute of play. Victorino Frederik took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Val Mac Millan. Val Mac Millan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. In the 44th minute Grzegorz Jajecznica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Val Mac Millan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grzegorz Jajecznica in the 44th minute of play forced Magallanes's goalkeeper Val Mac Millan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Val Mac Millan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry White, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Barry White made a precise shot to the right of Val Mac Millan. Magallanes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gerónimo Aiach ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roman Makomaski might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Val Mac Millan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Makomaski ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Magallanes's Salomone Marrodan got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Magallanes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rose Encina to maneuver through the defense. Magallanes's Val Mac Millan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zygmunt Budrewicz in the 83rd minute of play. Luca De La Torre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Val Mac Millan made a huge save. Val Mac Millan was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Roman Makomaski capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roman Makomaski really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. In the 93rd minute, Goral Zywiec's Roman Makomaski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Val Mac Millan. Val Mac Millan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. Goral Zywiec played a much better game than Magallanes and deserved their victory. The Magallanes players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
