Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Vialli in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amado Jordão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Punk Fiction booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Kiliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes Punk Fiction got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Eguen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Vialli in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Jordão saved Punk Fiction from getting behind. If Gilberto Nayely had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's Mauro Cordareo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Jordão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Punk Fiction's Amado Jordão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Punk Fiction from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes in the game Prospero Kiliz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aquilino Rozarius. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Nayely was the one to do the kick off.
