The referee ignored Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's protests and gave Lucio Morningstar a yellow card for diving instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliézer Sampaio made a kick off. Cristiano Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76 minutes of play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Dagoberto Moraes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gordon Banke was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Eliézer Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Messias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gordon Banke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Milko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
