The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Robotnicy's Waclaw Polakowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Robotnicy from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute C.A.Esparta were awarded a corner. Filip Wawrukiewicz went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Esparta's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Hendrik Ohmer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waclaw Polakowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waclaw Polakowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Benediktas Misevičius came free, but Evelio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Waclaw Polakowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Waclaw Polakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Adrian Arotza struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Waclaw Polakowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Esparta. In the 29th minute of the game Radomil Barycz made a throw-in which Janusz Dynda played forward. Adrian Arotza's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Waclaw Polakowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, C.A.Esparta's Sven-Hendrik Ohmer got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waclaw Polakowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Waclaw Polakowski made a huge save. With a little luck, Robotnicy's Waclaw Polakowski got control of the ball when Adrian Arotza tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Robotnicy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanislaw Podwojski to maneuver through the defense. Waclaw Polakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Dalmai made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Olof Nordgren came free, but Evelio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Robotnicy defense, Adrian Arotza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waclaw Polakowski. The Robotnicy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waclaw Polakowski should have stopped the shot. Waclaw Polakowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 59th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waclaw Polakowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 64 played minutes C.A.Esparta got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Arotza. C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior was substituted for Sven-Hendrik Ohmer. Adrian Arotza kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Waclaw Polakowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Junior, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. C.A.Esparta made a substitution. Marcos Acuña replaced Felix Orlan. Waclaw Polakowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Robotnicy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for C.A.Esparta.
