A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Grant McPhedron hit a great ball. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Fidensio in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Brodie in the 13th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indiana Jones in the 16th minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Sitthachat Jampeehom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Zuasnabar in the 19th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cleto Cordaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benjamin Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Zuasnabar in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Cordaro in the 33rd minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Sitthachat Jampeehom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Benjamin Tino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Miguel Zuasnabar. In the 38th minute, Miguel Zuasnabar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benjamin Tino came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar. But to his dismay, Miguel Zuasnabar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Gavião Kyikatejê getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maksymilian Kolba hit a great ball. Sitthachat Jampeehom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Cordaro in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 57th minute, Miguel Zuasnabar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Tino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gavião Kyikatejê's Sitthachat Jampeehom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indiana Jones in the 61st minute of play. Benjamin Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Zuasnabar, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Sitthachat Jampeehom was a little too slow when Matías Kranevitter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 3-2. Gavião Kyikatejê's attentive Deilmison Davids managed to snatch the ball when Ioan Cândea made a throw-in in the 81st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Miguel Zuasnabar put it in 4-2 from a short distance just to the right of Benjamin Tino. In the 84th minute of the match, Indiana Jones tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sitthachat Jampeehom saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Zuasnabar in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Tino saved Club El Progreso from getting behind. Miguel Zuasnabar spun around in front of the goal 86 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Club El Progreso's goal. Club El Progreso made a substitution. Enzo Bot replaced Indiana Jones. Washington Papa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 89 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Club El Progreso:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gavião Kyikatejê:s goal. The referee gave Gavião Kyikatejê a penalty, 90 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Deilmison Davids, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino. 5-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Zuasnabar in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Tino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavião Kyikatejê's Miguel Zuasnabar managed to work through Club El Progreso's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Miguel Zuasnabar dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Gavião Kyikatejê's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
