The corner went over the outstretched arms of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalie and right to Gianpaolo Mascari. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Gronow in the 65th minute of play. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Gronow in the 75th minute of play. Siricio Liotta was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Siricio Liotta pulled a muscle in his leg after 91 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 92nd minute, Melquiades Lastur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC throughout the match.
