An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasvan Cristescu in the 33rd minute of play forced FC aDeX's goalkeeper Matei Oltean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Romania getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Eugen Ionita hit a great ball. In the 48th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Oltean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Olaru made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 60 minutes, Matei Oltean successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 62 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when James Madison came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carol Stinga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rasvan Cristescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Oltean having to interfere. A beautiful save bye FC aDeX's goalie prevented a goal. When Fortunato Miner fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC aDeX's protests and gave Fortunato Miner a yellow card for diving instead. Fortunato Miner hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavian Vaduva in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matei Oltean saved FC aDeX from getting behind. Matei Oltean was a little too slow when Anton Stinga got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-4. When the match was over Romania could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC aDeX throughout the match.
