Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 17th minute of play. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Chorache Tofiño kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 94th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Progresul Pitesti could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
