Denizhan Oğuzman charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Denizhan Oğuzman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Denizhan Oğuzman hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The supporters of Denmark booed when Erzincan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Ali Sağan didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 4th minute of play forced Erzincan FK's goalkeeper Gürhan Şemseddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Mikkel Wulff sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürhan Şemseddin skillfully saved the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikkel Wulff in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gürhan Şemseddin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Erzincan FK's Gürhan Şemseddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 12th minute of play. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Denizhan Oğuzman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denizhan Oğuzman got free with Keld Paulsen in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Denizhan Oğuzman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. After 27 minutes Denmark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yavuz Özgenalp who took care of the corner kick. Yavuz Özgenalp made a great header on Erzincan FK's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Erzincan FK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Berkem Kayhan hit a great ball. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürhan Şemseddin having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denizhan Oğuzman. In the 43rd minute, Denizhan Oğuzman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Erzincan FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulhamit Akbel, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Erzincan FK's goalkeeper Gürhan Şemseddin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. After 57 minutes Erzincan FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chris Nygaard who took care of the corner kick. Gürhan Şemseddin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gürhan Şemseddin was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Chris Nygaard capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Chris Nygaard really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 64th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Bendtsen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdulhamit Akbel in the 65th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Akgün Savtuna charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Akgün Savtuna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Denmark's Chris Nygaard tried to score from far away in the 67th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulhamit Akbel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Simon Bendtsen hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Yavuz Özgenalp, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Nygaard in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gürhan Şemseddin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Emirşah İnanır kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Denizhan Oğuzman notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Erzincan FK getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Denizhan Oğuzman hit a great ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulhamit Akbel in the 92nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Yavuz Özgenalp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Gürhan Şemseddin made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Erzincan FK were victorious despite being under pressure from Denmark for much of the match.
