Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sport Club Abrilense's Cléber Catarinense started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes in the game, Severino Bruggink fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Cléber Catarinense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loris Karius was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loris Karius having to interfere. Tommy Kahn didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Bruggink, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Bruggink, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Sport Club Abrilense were awarded a corner. Dan Rüdy went to the cornerflag to take it. Chris Mergenthaler charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chris Mergenthaler the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sport Club Abrilense booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cléber Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Cléber Catarinense tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Rüdy, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loris Karius having to make a save. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Rüdy in the 58th minute of play. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Severino Bruggink struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Abrilense. In the 61st minute Severino Bruggink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléber Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sport Club Abrilense. After a rather tough play, Sport Club Abrilense's Leandro Luix got a free kick in the 64th minute. Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Chris Mergenthaler off the ground. In the 66th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. 67 minutes into the match, Severino Bruggink had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Bruggink was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Severino Bruggink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Severino Bruggink notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 74th minute. Severino Bruggink took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Sport Club Abrilense's Mariano Enol suffered a concussion in the 82nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 84th minute. Dan Rüdy, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Felo in the 92nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sport Club Abrilense were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
