Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvio Egun started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Silvio Egun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cuquero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Silvio Egun tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Nicanor Calixto in the 17th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by France's Remy Dupuy. France's Frank Peletier got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvio Egun in the 19th minute. In the 26th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quentin Beaux to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Sean Allison recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maxime Durand. Sean Allison showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Dario Cambiasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Peletier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Sean Allison took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Maxime Durand to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Cuquero defense, Frank Peletier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Cambiasso. The Cuquero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Cambiasso should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
54 minutes into the game, Nicanor Calixto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cuquero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cuquero's Nicanor Calixto got a free kick in the 54th minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Camille Baume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camille Baume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Robert Chapuis hit a great ball. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Cambiasso having to interfere. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Egun's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Egun in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxime Durand saved France from getting behind. The supporters of France booed when Cuquero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Vasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saverio Argider hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Frank Peletier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When %teams%'s Frank Peletier was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 5-2 just inside the left pole, 88 minutes into the game. Dario Cambiasso was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Cuquero's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
