With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas Eklund in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. In the 17th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Branca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquito Branca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Chiquito Branca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Takacs Tibor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lucas Eklund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiquito Branca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hegedus Henrik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, Boom Shaka Laka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zikri Ergener to maneuver through the defense. Antal Valentin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 65 minutes into the game, when Hans Norling put in a rough tackle. In the 64th minute, one of Boom Shaka Laka:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Boom Shaka Laka. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 68th minute. Hungary's Takacs Tibor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chiquito Branca in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Hungary booed when Boom Shaka Laka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars-Erik Rolandsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Boom Shaka Laka's Chiquito Branca got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucas Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Boom Shaka Laka's Chiquito Branca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Boom Shaka Laka from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Boom Shaka Laka booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boros Benedek didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Holger Törnblom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquito Branca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquito Branca made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th match minute, Boom Shaka Laka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zikri Ergener to maneuver through the defense. Hungary's Hegedus Henrik got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Boom Shaka Laka.
