In the 22nd minute, Inácio Furtado made a precise shot to the right of Mauro Barreto. Nova Venécia-ES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Arantes came free, but Mauro Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agnaldo Linares in the 34th minute of play forced Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Mauro Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huang Peng Ning made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ace Spade immediately put the ball in play. 38 minutes into the game, Nova Venécia-ES's Vitório Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agnaldo Linares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nova Venécia-ES's Mauro Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agnaldo Linares in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute, Leonel Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee ignored Bezerros EC's protests and gave Almir Freitas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Bezerros EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Freitas to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bezerros EC's Luiz Fernando Peixoto got control of the ball when Davi Lendaa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vitório Nascimento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nova Venécia-ES had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
