Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Constantino Henrico kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. Nestor Viviano charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nestor Viviano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Cacomixtles de Queretaro got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Viviano. In the 18th match minute, Cacomixtles de Queretaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Nieruchliwy to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Roland Nieruchliwy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Roland Nieruchliwy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Ugaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lech Harbaszewski hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Alejo Bertran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Ugaitz. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Hüsnü Hürsel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Hüsnü Hürsel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Constantino Henrico made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Serafin Ugaitz in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Cacomixtles de Queretaro's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Ugaitz came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Hüsnü Hürsel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Cacomixtles de Queretaro made a substitution. Gustav Sefastsson replaced Constantino Henrico. In the 76th minute, Gustav Sefastsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Ugaitz having to interfere. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Sefastsson in the 85th minute of play. Gustav Sefastsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Cacomixtles de Queretaro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atilano Chorache in the 92nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cacomixtles de Queretaro.
