Orlando Queirós charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Queirós the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Symba getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Orlando Queirós hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 18th minute of play forced Symba's goalkeeper Anis Achour to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Germany booed when Symba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garry Mann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anis Achour took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Symba defense, Albin Holweck kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anis Achour. The Symba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anis Achour should have stopped the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Imed Akid came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hatem Ben Amor got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Imed Akid. Khaled Chérif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Tomás San Juan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-2. After the first half Germany were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Symba made a substitution. Sílvio Veiga replaced Khaled Chérif. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sílvio Veiga made a kick off. Symba's Sílvio Veiga got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anis Achour breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás San Juan in the 57th minute of the match. Symba's Anis Achour proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Symba from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Symba's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Wootton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gus Wootton in the 82nd minute of play. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Anis Achour tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gus Wootton in the 87th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Symba's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Anis Achour reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Symba's Sílvio Veiga in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. In the 96th minute, Sílvio Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Although Symba had been in control for most of the match, Germany still came away with the win.
