Großberghofen
Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Großberghofen's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Großberghofen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Belgium:s goal. In the 8th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Aumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius Aumann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Janusz Zwingel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Casper Claes made a huge save. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Janusz Zwingel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Sven Appenzeller put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Casper Claes. 27 minutes into the match, Großberghofen's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Julius Aumann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Aumann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julius Aumann came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Sander Dermaut got a free kick in the 36th minute. Julius Aumann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julius Aumann was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julius Aumann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Julius Aumann. Großberghofen's Julius Aumann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 47th minute of play. The Großberghofen players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 1-2.

Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Zwingel's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Edwin Eberl struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Großberghofen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janusz Zwingel in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casper Claes saved Belgium from getting behind. In the 61st minute Großberghofen were awarded a corner. Gerd Della went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Belgium's goalie and right to Sven Appenzeller. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Belgium's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siebe Michiels got free with Julius Aumann in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 64 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julius Aumann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Appenzeller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 played minutes, Großberghofen's Gerd Della shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Casper Claes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Großberghofen reached it. Janusz Zwingel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Julius Aumann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Julius Aumann. Großberghofen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 83rd minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julius Aumann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Dervaux in the 86th minute of the match. 87 minutes into the match, Großberghofen's goalkeeper Julius Aumann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. When Großberghofen's Janusz Zwingel in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. After 94 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Yves Dervaux. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janusz Zwingel in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
