Blue Mountain State's Robin Sharma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Alberto Suárez in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute Karol Panasewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amran Suhaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Putra Rewulu's Amran Suhaya proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Putra Rewulu from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Aykut Aşkın took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Amran Suhaya to make any attempt to save it. 26 minutes into the game, Karol Panasewicz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amran Suhaya. Karol Panasewicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 34 played minutes, Putra Rewulu's Moises Udoy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robin Sharma came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Putra Rewulu reached it. If Karol Panasewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amran Suhaya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Panasewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asmadi Subagio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Robin Sharma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Putra Rewulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bolko Bushuven to maneuver through the defense. Amran Suhaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Panasewicz in the 43rd minute of the match. The supporters of Blue Mountain State booed when Putra Rewulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uci Pakasi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Instead of passing the ball, Afşar Uçuk made a really hard long shot towards goal. Putra Rewulu's Amran Suhaya realized he got lucky when he saw the ball passing the outside of the left post. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Asmadi Subagio to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rasyid Purbaya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Putra Rewulu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Robin Sharma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Alberto Suárez in the 55th minute of play. If Karol Panasewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute Karol Panasewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amran Suhaya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Karol Panasewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blue Mountain State's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Panasewicz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amran Suhaya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Panasewicz came free, but Amran Suhaya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Karol Panasewicz in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amran Suhaya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blue Mountain State's George Popescu was substituted for Gökcan Bergin. After 80 minutes Putra Rewulu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Afşar Uçuk who took care of the corner kick. When Blue Mountain State's George Popescu in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Putra Rewulu's goalie prevented a goal. After 80 minutes, George Popescu made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Putra Rewulu's Amran Suhaya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Robin Sharma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Alberto Suárez in the 83rd minute of play. From a short distance, Putra Rewulu's Luis Alberto Suárez, in the 83rd minute, tried to place the ball behind Robin Sharma, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. Putra Rewulu made a substitution. Primus Ramandha replaced Rasyid Purbaya. Robin Sharma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primus Ramandha in the 89th minute of the match. Elvio Burualla hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. 98 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Alberto Suárez came free, but Robin Sharma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The Blue Mountain State players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
