Emanuel Podgoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Horácio Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Novak having to interfere. After some careless play in the SiTomanBoy´s defense, Horácio Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of James Novak. The SiTomanBoy´s fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that James Novak should have stopped the shot. Emanuel Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Ignacio Hanssen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horácio Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without James Novak having to make a save. James Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Garcia in the 32nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernán Torrejón to make the kick off. Rosendo Gervaso replaced Jose Gipuzkoa. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Eliseo Abechuco was substituted for Horácio Garcia. The audience was convinced that Toninho Guerreiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Podgoreanu was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Neither SiTomanBoy´s or Acercate Y Patea de Lejos succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's Rosendo Gervaso that got to make the kick off. A throw-in in the 102nd minute of the game was made by Gaston Ávila with Rosendo Gervaso as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The supporters of SiTomanBoy´s booed when Acercate Y Patea de Lejos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 123 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Guter didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 125th minute of the match, Natalio Guter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but James Novak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rosendo Gervaso got free with James Novak in the 128th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. James Novak was a little too slow when Rosendo Gervaso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 132nd minute. The score was now 2-3. Acercate Y Patea de Lejos's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
