In the last second Dick Vedholm throw himself and got hold of the ball when Karl-Heinz Schneider in the 20thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 22nd minute Karl-Heinz Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goalie and right to Stefanos Rigopoulos. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dick Vedholm made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Valerios Voutsas sent off a good shot on target.
