In the 2nd match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Grau to maneuver through the defense. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Richie in the 3rd minute of play. Cihan Zafer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 6th minute of play. Zhao Sen Yang's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cihan Zafer firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cihan Zafer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from İlhami Akyazıcı, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Petre Iftode ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cihan Zafer. Cihan Zafer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cihan Zafer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 31st minute, İlhami Akyazıcı fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Javier Zanetti got a throw-in 35 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gualterio Richie. Cihan Zafer was a little too slow when Zhao Sen Yang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 38th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 45th minute SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON were awarded a corner. Frank Leoni went to the cornerflag to take it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON made a substitution. Gencer Hisarcık replaced Gualterio Richie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhao Sen Yang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Leoni made a great header on SaHNoYaN HuN TüRK•iCON's corner, it was just that Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Diki Doro managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 84th minute Hatemi Mukbil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diki Doro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencer Hisarcık in the 87th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Diki Doro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diki Doro made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Gencer Hisarcık sent off a good shot on target.
