Spectators: 527 (Terracing: 396, Seating: 121, VIP seats: 10) Brothers of Mercy's Håkan Lindgren started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Skarkman in the 4th minute of play forced KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Jean-Louis Van Bever to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Lindgren in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Louis Van Bever prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Håkan Lindgren in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jean-Louis Van Bever saved KFC Cromvelde from getting behind. If Mathijs Rokeloos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brothers of Mercy's Markus Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 11th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, 狄亦渊 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Jean-Louis Van Bever was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute Mathijs Rokeloos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Markus Nyman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brothers of Mercy's Markus Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 19th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Markus Nyman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Markus Nyman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mathijs Rokeloos went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Markus Nyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathijs Rokeloos in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves 狄亦渊 could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Jean-Louis Van Bever however easily saved by the left post. Brothers of Mercy's Markus Nyman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathijs Rokeloos in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute, Mathijs Rokeloos made a precise shot to the right of Markus Nyman. Brothers of Mercy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Håkan Lindgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jean-Louis Van Bever. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Håkan Lindgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Jean-Louis Van Bever showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Håkan Lindgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After the first half KFC Cromvelde were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathijs Rokeloos was the one to do the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Herman Frans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Cromvelde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brothers of Mercy the free kick. After a rather tough play, KFC Cromvelde's Herman Frans got a free kick in the 60th minute. Håkan Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 63 minutes into the match, Brothers of Mercy's goalkeeper Markus Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathijs Rokeloos. KFC Cromvelde made a substitution. Henry Åkesson replaced Mathijs Rokeloos. Valter Ahlerot hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. KFC Cromvelde's Jean-Louis Van Bever played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Adamko in the 70th minute of play. Markus Nyman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henry Åkesson in the 74th minute. Brothers of Mercy made a substitution. Christer Valler replaced Håkan Lindgren. After 77 minutes Brothers of Mercy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Wauters who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Herman Frans heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Henry Åkesson came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the KFC Cromvelde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henry Åkesson couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Brothers of Mercy's Patrik Skarkman got a free kick in the 89th minute. Henry Åkesson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st match minute, KFC Cromvelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Isidor to maneuver through the defense.

When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Brothers of Mercy lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
