In the 3rd minute, Hamza Yavaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Henric hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Soldados De Román's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kiszkiel came free, but Eulalio Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Westelinx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Urbasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute Guilherme Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes in the game, Guilherme Basso fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rene Vereijt having to interfere. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Borges in the 31st minute of play. FC Ouagadougou National's Rene Vereijt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Borges in the 33rd minute of play. Eulalio Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Guilherme Basso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soldados De Román's supporters rose to their feet, but Guilherme Basso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Vereijt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, Soldados De Román's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Kiszkiel came free, but Eulalio Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Urbasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jedrzej Kiszkiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andres Calamaro kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ouagadougou National's zone, Ulisses Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Vereijt came out of the goal and Ulisses Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Borges made a kick off. If Angelo Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 53rd minute Angelo Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Vereijt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Urbasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Westelinx, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Eulalio Urbasa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 61 minutes into the match, Soldados De Román's goalkeeper Eulalio Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamza Yavaş. James Bom hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Soldados De Román's Aquilino Gonchan was substituted for Filiberto Henric. FC Ouagadougou National's Dani Rojas was substituted for Jedrzej Kiszkiel. FC Ouagadougou National's Juan Santi was substituted for William Westelinx. In the 71st minute, James Bom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Urbasa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 72nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sergen Şahbender. Guilherme Basso might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Vereijt. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 80 played minutes FC Ouagadougou National got a freekick which was hit by Sergen Şahbender. In the 83rd minute of the match, Hamza Yavaş got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eulalio Urbasa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 84 minutes into the match, Soldados De Román's goal looked a bit too open when Dani Rojas came free, but Eulalio Urbasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabahattin Kökten kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Ulisses Andrade struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Rene Vereijt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soldados De Román. 92 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Goren came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
After the break the players went out on the field to play the first half of overtime with revived energy in their legs. FC Ouagadougou National's Dani Rojas started the play with the initial kick off. Soldados De Román's Eulalio Urbasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Rojas in the 101st minute of play. When Soldados De Román's Angelo Borges in the 102nd minute got a chance for a shot 102nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ouagadougou National's goalie prevented a goal. 105 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soldados De Román's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sergen Şahbender was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Ouagadougou National's players had a chance to rest. FC Ouagadougou National's Sergen Şahbender was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eulalio Urbasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Juan Santi came up free with the goalie in the 109th minute, the FC Ouagadougou National fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Santi couldn't finish the play. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FC Ouagadougou National players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
