In the 8th minute Henry Hjortberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Patric Elg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18thth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Färnäs's Bertil Hellgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute, Svante Johnsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxime Durand was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Hannes Ström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hannes Ström really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the last second Maxime Durand throw himself and got hold of the ball when Henry Hjortberg in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Henry Hjortberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leo Kling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When France's Frank Peletier in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Färnäs's goalie prevented a goal. Färnäs were awarded a corner in the 49th minute after France's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ian Lundin took the corner. Färnäs's Ian Lundin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maxime Durand in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After taking down the ball on France's corner David Barbier fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bertil Hellgren quite easily take care of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Färnäs's goalkeeper Bertil Hellgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camille Baume. A collision led to Färnäs getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Wiktor Qvarnström hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Färnäs's zone, David Barbier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bertil Hellgren came out of the goal and David Barbier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Färnäs's Bertil Hellgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Färnäs from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frank Peletier in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertil Hellgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Färnäs's Bertil Hellgren got control of the ball when Camille Baume tried to sneak it across the goal line. The tension between the Färnäs and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the France players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Färnäs.
