Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henry Hjortberg kicked off to start the match. Camille Baume's late challenge caught a Färnäs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camille Baume helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, France's Camille Baume got a free kick in the 5th minute. A collision led to Färnäs getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Henry Hjortberg hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Frank Peletier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertil Hellgren was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Hjortberg in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Hjortberg came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of France booed when Färnäs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Hjortberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. Svante Johnsson struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Färnäs. Hannes Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Henry Hjortberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Färnäs's Henry Hjortberg got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 44 minutes, Ian Lundin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Färnäs and the France players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th minute, Ian Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Peletier made a kick off. When Camille Baume came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camille Baume couldn't finish the play. Frank Peletier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Hellgren having to interfere. Leo Kling might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leo Kling ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 minutes of play, Färnäs's Hannes Ström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henry Hjortberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertil Hellgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remy Dupuy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Frank Peletier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
