During this time The Wolfpack™'s players had a chance to rest. A very nice done corner allowed Natan Omblets to score against Tommy Kahn in Germany's goal. 1-0 after 4 minutes. 8 minutes into the match, The Wolfpack™'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Didier Schollens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Wolfpack™ were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurent Elzen took the corner. The corner ended in Åke Gentenaar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. After 14 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. In the 14th minute, Lex Dewolf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Didier Schollens didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Germany's Frank Sachs shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. If Lex Dewolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Lex Dewolf sent off a good shot on target. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Lex Dewolf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-1. The Wolfpack™'s Lex Dewolf got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute The Wolfpack™ were awarded a corner. Laurent Elzen went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Laurent Elzen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. Lex Dewolf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Tommy Kahn, was totally fooled by The Wolfpack™'s Laurent Elzen, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Lex Dewolf who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lex Dewolf stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lex Dewolf in the 52nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 58th minute of the match Germany got a corner. The Wolfpack™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Didier Schollens quite easily take care of the ball. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Lex Dewolf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. The Wolfpack™'s Didier Schollens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Lex Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When The Wolfpack™'s Lex Dewolf in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Didier Schollens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lex Dewolf in the 82nd minute of play. Laurent Elzen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute, Lex Dewolf made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1.
