The Al-Kungshöjd fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Al-Kungshöjd's Traian Iorda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Björkdal in the 18th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Al-Kungshöjd getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The supporters of Denmark booed when Al-Kungshöjd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. 严傲飞 didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Al-Kungshöjd had played much better football throughout.
