The supporters of Hungary booed when Northern Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bert Struik didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Maikel Lammers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Boros Benedek hit a great ball. In the 8th minute of the match Maikel Lammers sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fodor Daniel skillfully saved the ball. After 10 minutes of play, Hungary's Antal Valentin made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Billy Hollander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Northern Titans's Billy Hollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 17th minute of play. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neeme Van Achteren in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the Northern Titans defense, Hegedus Henrik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Billy Hollander. The Northern Titans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Billy Hollander should have stopped the shot. Billy Hollander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Antal Valentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Billy Hollander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Billy Hollander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. Billy Hollander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Hollander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balazs Lajos in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Richard Heerspink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Billy Hollander made a huge save. With a little luck, Northern Titans's Billy Hollander got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Northern Titans:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Hungary:s goal. Bert Struik hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 76th minute of play forced Northern Titans's goalkeeper Billy Hollander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Billy Hollander came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 77th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Northern Titans's Billy Hollander. Billy Hollander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Heerspink in the 88th minute of play. Major Barna in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Billy Hollander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 97th minute, Hungary's Takacs Tibor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Billy Hollander. Billy Hollander yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
