In the 4th minute, Jan-Åke Hedlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Åke Hedlund. Daniel Banaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 10th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Daniel Pimentel in the 10th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Faustino Almeida got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Åke Hedlund. Faustino Almeida made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Valencia CF Mindszent's Dan Beard. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Jan-Åke Hedlund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Daniel Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 23rd minute of play. Jan-Åke Hedlund might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan-Åke Hedlund ran back to his position shaking his head. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Daniel Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Barreto in the 26th minute of play. Daniel Banaszak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Viriato Moura, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 28 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Daniel Banaszak was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan-Åke Hedlund in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Åke Hedlund in the 34th minute of play. Daniel Banaszak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Saltuk Peykan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Valencia CF Mindszent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Portugal the free kick. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Caetano Moreira. Saltuk Peykan kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Banaszak having to interfere. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázár Lévay, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Bob Sinclair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Daniel Banaszak made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Felipinho Amorim sent off a good shot on target. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Banaszak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 89th minute of the match. Valencia CF Mindszent's Daniel Banaszak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 91st minute of play. In the 94th minute, Bob Sinclair left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valencia CF Mindszent fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Valencia CF Mindszent walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
