But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leal Castilho couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Peralta in the 9th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led D.P.Aarburg's Severiano Assis to a score. 1-0 in the 11th minute. In the 19th match minute, D.P.Aarburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Peralta to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Bujor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Valentin Bujor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valentin Bujor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Peralta in the 31st minute of the match. 31 minutes into the game, David Peralta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Arnout Reekers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Valentin Bujor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leal Castilho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Bujor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 39th minute of play. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Valentin Bujor made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Eikelkamp in the 54th minute of play forced D.P.Aarburg's goalkeeper Valentin Bujor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Almiro Medeiros hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Valentin Bujor in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Peralta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valentin Bujor made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when David Eikelkamp sent off a good shot on target. Torcato Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of D.P.Aarburg booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torcato Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. D.P.Aarburg's Valentin Bujor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 85th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Valentin Bujor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. In the 93rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Valentin Bujor, passed just outside the right post. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but D.P.Aarburg were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
