Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Hens in the 3rd minute of play. Jens Krammer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, FC Żywiec's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Dostal came free, but Steven Schuster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens Krammer got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Walter Schulze-Oben made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Kvetoslav Janku kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Żywiec booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Rusil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Jens Krammer sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FC Żywiec's zone, Denis Dostal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steven Schuster came out of the goal and Denis Dostal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Schuster having to interfere. With a little luck, Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub got control of the ball when Jens Krammer tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 41 in the game by Jens Krammer from a close distance when the talented Vavrinec Holub managed to make a qualified save. Czech Republic's players were relieved. Pascal Fabisch kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Walter Schulze-Oben recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub. Walter Schulze-Oben showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

If Walter Schulze-Oben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Valdemar Turecek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hans-Dieter Kolb kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Czech Republic defense, Walter Schulze-Oben kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vavrinec Holub. The Czech Republic fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vavrinec Holub should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Roland Hens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Roland Hens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Vitek kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Steven Schuster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rusil in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute, Jens Krammer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Żywiec fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 80 minutes into the game, Alan Rezek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Czech Republic's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Żywiec the free kick. In the 80th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Rezek to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Jens Krammer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Żywiec's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens Krammer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Dostal to maneuver through the defense. Steven Schuster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Dostal in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Hens in the 92nd minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Vitek kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Nico-Paul Kleinert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vavrinec Holub skillfully saved the ball. When the referee ended the match the FC Żywiec players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
