The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Christos Tsirimonakis came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Toutourouki f.c. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Tsirimonakis couldn't finish the play. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Czech Republic! Christos Tsirimonakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vavrinec Holub having to interfere. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the game, Makis Iosifakos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Toutourouki f.c.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Czech Republic the free kick. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Toutourouki f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Makis Iosifakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Vitek to maneuver through the defense. Vavrinec Holub was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Christos Tsirimonakis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Christos Tsirimonakis really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Toutourouki f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giorgos Kazatzidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes Christos Tsirimonakis rounded Czech Republic's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. When Kvetoslav Janku fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Kvetoslav Janku a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Alan Rezek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Czech Republic from getting a goal against them. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Tsirimonakis in the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Christos Tsirimonakis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toutourouki f.c. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Tsirimonakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Denis Dostal made a kick off. Spyros Triantafyllopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Makis Iosifakos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Makis Iosifakos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Toutourouki f.c.'s Stefanos Periou got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Denis Dostal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 61 minutes, Alan Rezek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alan Rezek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 played minutes Toutourouki f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Iraklis Moustakas. Erik Jilek, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Denis Dostal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Dostal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tolis Mantouvalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Dostal in the 70th minute of the match. After 74 minutes of play, Toutourouki f.c.'s Christos Tsirimonakis made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vavrinec Holub was left in no man's land by his defense there! 79 minutes into the game, Christos Tsirimonakis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Vavrinec Holub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Tsirimonakis in the 84th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Vrasidas Liouras came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great ball. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vrasidas Liouras in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Toutourouki f.c. were the better team. Toutourouki f.c.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
