Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Metod Mlynar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kornel Jahoda during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Kornel Jahoda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Slovakia's Henrich Slany proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Slovakia from getting a goal against them. If Filip Speich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmund Maliar to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Salomon Burgemann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gretchen AIS's Karl Axelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metod Mlynar in the 14th minute of play. Elof Gustavsson got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andreas Lövkvist. 20 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Salomon Burgemann came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Zigmund Maliar fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Zigmund Maliar a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Zigmund Maliar hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Vít Biskup got a free kick in the 27th minute. Karl Axelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metod Mlynar in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Salomon Burgemann came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl Axelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Salomon Burgemann. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Zigmund Maliar got a free kick in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Filip Speich tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrich Slany was a little too slow when Salomon Burgemann got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salomon Burgemann was the one to do the kick off. Zigmund Maliar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Karl Axelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Salomon Burgemann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salomon Burgemann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Zigmund Maliar was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Zigmund Maliar hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Hedman in the 68th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Lövkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Jan-Olof Byström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Vavrinec Koleno hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, Metod Mlynar notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Gretchen AIS's Karl Axelsson. Karl Axelsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 88 minutes into the match, Olov Hedman notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Slovakia's Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Speich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute of the match, Metod Mlynar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Karl Axelsson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 97 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Örjan Hökqvist came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gretchen AIS had played much better football throughout.
