After having played for 42 minutes, Izydor Szkaradek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lipowo SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Izydor Szkaradek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Bondel struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lipowo SSA. Izydor Szkaradek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Edmund Wozniak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Sachs's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lipowo SSA had won after a very even match.
