After 5 played minutes Flan Mixto FC got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Iruinea. In the 9th minute Mikkel Wulff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Dorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Denmark booed when Flan Mixto FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flan Mixto FC's Raimundo Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorio Bartoli got free with Keld Paulsen in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A sloppy throw-in by Theis Winther in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Flan Mixto FC's Dobromir Lamczyk. Fernando Bilbo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Keld Paulsen came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Bilbo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. In the 31st minute, Jonathan Yang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Theis Winther mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Denmark and the Flan Mixto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theis Winther to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Flan Mixto FC's Edgardo Acevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keld Paulsen. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Bartoli in the 38th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Flan Mixto FC's Keld Paulsen threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan Yang, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Theis Winther got a throw-in 44 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Bertram Svenningsen. Keld Paulsen was a little too slow when Jonathan Yang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 46th minute. The score was now 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Bilbo to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute, Jonathan Yang made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Yang in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Flan Mixto FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarne Kirkegaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flan Mixto FC's Placido Lando was substituted for Fernando Bilbo. Bjarne Kirkegaard kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Jonathan Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flan Mixto FC were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Denmark's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celestino Iruinea took the corner. The corner led Flan Mixto FC's Celestino Iruinea to fire away a dangerous shot which Keld Paulsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 73rd minute of play forced Flan Mixto FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Theis Winther got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Yang came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Raimundo Dorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Flan Mixto FC's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Dorio came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Yang struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Keld Paulsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flan Mixto FC. In the 97th minute, Jonathan Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. When the referee blew the final whistle, Flan Mixto FC could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
