Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Haritz Trespuentes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Deniz Orsel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 3rd minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deniz Orsel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Orduspor's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Deniz Orsel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deniz Orsel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Haritz Trespuentes sent off a good shot on target. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Deniz Orsel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haritz Trespuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Deniz Orsel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orduspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haritz Trespuentes in the 44th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. Olgierd Orlicki tried in the 51st minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Deniz Orsel a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Deniz Orsel in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantinos Manikas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Deniz Orsel made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Netherlands had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
