Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Filomeno Tormes kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. When Xurxo Lagunas came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Asturcones d´la Abadía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xurxo Lagunas couldn't finish the play. Alejandro Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Filomeno Tormes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 2-0. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ermegildo Delgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Filomeno Tormes might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Tormes ran back to his position shaking his head. When Xurxo Lagunas came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Asturcones d´la Abadía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xurxo Lagunas couldn't finish the play. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Tormes in the 20th minute. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Xurxo Lagunas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Xurxo Lagunas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Delgado having to interfere. Filomeno Tormes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 minutes, Angelo Esteban mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asturcones d´la Abadía and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Germany made a substitution. Erik Deutschmann replaced Linus Schwerner. A collision led to Asturcones d´la Abadía getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Angelo Esteban hit a great ball. Xurxo Lagunas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Willy Stieler got a throw-in 46 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Erik Deutschmann. After 47 played minutes Asturcones d´la Abadía got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Esteban. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Ermegildo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Xurxo Lagunas came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Asturcones d´la Abadía fans jumped to their feet. Erik Deutschmann hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the game, Erik Deutschmann threw the ball into play from the sideline. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Angelo Esteban quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Delgado made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Xurxo Lagunas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurxo Lagunas in the 92nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Xurxo Lagunas came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Germany's goalie and right to Asier Izquierdo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Germany's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Asturcones d´la Abadía.
