With a left leg Khalid Kennedy saved England from getting behind. 37 minutes into the game, SuliMelilla's Nazario Dagora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. During the 41st minute of the match Eddie Willis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Eddie Willis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Eddie Willis kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Nazario Dagora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Khalid Kennedy made a huge save. Xalo Guerrero charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xalo Guerrero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xalo Guerrero kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Quinito Rubio made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as England's Issac Dawson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sabino Peña. That made the score 2-1 after 61 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, SuliMelilla's Nazario Dagora got a free kick in the 96th minute. The SuliMelilla support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
