The audience thought a goal was coming when Maxín Escudero got free with Fernandinho Pombal in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lion Messi took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fernandinho Pombal. Fernandinho Pombal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Maxín Escudero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Fernandinho Pombal made a huge save. Legion of Boom's Fernandinho Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Friedrich Händel in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, Legion of Boom's Fernandinho Pombal got control of the ball when Kaodilinakachukwu Papacharalabous tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maxín Escuderos short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Fernandinho Pombal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 42 minutes into the match, Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maxín Escudero. The Algarrobo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Lion Messi made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Cecilio Tenorio managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Legion of Boom's Adriano Paraense fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 54 minutes into the match, Lion Messi notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Legion of Boom's Fernandinho Pombal. Fernandinho Pombal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernandinho Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lion Messi in the 58th minute of the match. Adolf Eichmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Pombal having to interfere. Legion of Boom's Fernandinho Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolf Eichmann in the 78th minute of play. Maxín Escudero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Adolf Eichmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernandinho Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolf Eichmann in the 91st minute of play. In the 97th match minute, Algarrobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxín Escudero to maneuver through the defense. Algarrobo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
