If Bartolo Acuña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jonathan Jobo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piernas Locas Crane FC's protests and gave Jonathan Jobo a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the game, Isauro Bolinaga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Atletico Aragua FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Piernas Locas Crane FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
