An unexpectedly hard shot by Chiquinho Vargas in the 35th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Flavio Urizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Legion of Boom's goalkeeper Fernandinho Pombal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isauro Bolinaga. With a little luck, Legion of Boom's Fernandinho Pombal got control of the ball when Christian Casanande tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fernandinho Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Zaldain in the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isauro Bolinaga to make the kick off. In the 74th minute, Adriano Paraense reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Flavio Urizar. The goal made the score 1-2. Christian Casanande charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Casanande the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Christian Casanande kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 82 minutes Legion of Boom's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Isauro Bolinaga who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Atletico Aragua FC's corner Isauro Bolinaga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fernandinho Pombal quite easily take care of the ball. Fernandinho Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isauro Bolinaga in the 83rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adriano Paraense during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Legion of Boom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Paraense to maneuver through the defense. Atletico Aragua FC's Isauro Bolinaga got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Eliazar Briseño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Aragua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliazar Briseño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eliazar Briseño came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Atletico Aragua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliazar Briseño couldn't finish the play.
