Fernandinho Pombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baltasar Artaldo in the 10th minute. After 14 played minutes Legion of Boom got a freekick which was hit by Mazinho Koehler. Fernandinho Pombal made an important save on a dangerous shot by László Illés in the 17th minute. Thanks to some nice moves László Illés could shoot a difficult shot in the 18th minute, which Fernandinho Pombal however easily saved by the left post. In the 21st minute, Baraja Española FC's Benigno Indalecio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some careless play in the Legion of Boom defense, Benigno Indalecio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernandinho Pombal. The Legion of Boom fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernandinho Pombal should have stopped the shot. Cipriano Cugat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatinho Soeiro in the 29th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Baraja Española FC's Benigno Indalecio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernandinho Pombal. Fernandinho Pombal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Benigno Indalecio charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Indalecio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 44th match minute, Baraja Española FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Indalecio to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benigno Indalecio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Emiliano Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernandinho Pombal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Indalecio in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Legion of Boom's Alexis Mac Allister got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Fernandinho Pombal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Indalecio in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Baltasar Artaldo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernandinho Pombal was relentless in the 74th minute of the game.
