The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 played minutes Atletico Aragua FC got a freekick which was hit by Rik Percaz. If Isauro Bolinaga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Flavio Urizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Pietrowiak in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Gunners ARS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wieslaw Ziomkowski to maneuver through the defense. Mikolaj Piszczor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Zaldain in the 31st minute of the match. Flavio Urizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Pietrowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Atletico Aragua FC's Christian Casanande got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Flavio Urizar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Mielak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Zaldain in the 42nd minute of play forced Gunners ARS's goalkeeper Mikolaj Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isauro Bolinaga made a kick off. In the 53rd play minute Christian Casanande came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mikolaj Piszczor. 0-1. When Isauro Bolinaga fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Aragua FC's protests and gave Isauro Bolinaga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gunners ARS booed when Atletico Aragua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isauro Bolinaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Emiliano Zaldain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Aragua FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emiliano Zaldain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikolaj Piszczor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rik Percaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mikolaj Piszczor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Zaldain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Casanande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mikolaj Piszczor having to interfere. If Emiliano Zaldain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Mielak hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. A hard shot 77 in the game by Isauro Bolinaga from a close distance when the talented Mikolaj Piszczor managed to make a qualified save. Gunners ARS's players were relieved. 79 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Mielak came free, but Flavio Urizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atletico Aragua FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
