After a rather tough play, Gunners ARS's Walery Madajczyk got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute, Fernando Lucas made a precise shot to the right of Mikolaj Piszczor. Gunners ARS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Cristian Baiano hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gunners ARS defense, Luiz Gustavo Brasil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mikolaj Piszczor. The Gunners ARS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mikolaj Piszczor should have stopped the shot. After 39 minutes of play, Independente FC's Nilson Duarte made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
