Carlos Cordarius's late challenge caught a Independente FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Cordarius helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Cordarius hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Fernando Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independente FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Lucas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Bermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Lucas in the 12th minute of the match. Isidoro Bermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Gustavo Brasil went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Bruninho Prado notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of SopinkIYCerebro's Isidoro Bermudo. Isidoro Bermudo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 20 minutes of play, Independente FC's Fernando Lucas made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Bermudo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilson Duarte in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidoro Bermudo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isidoro Bermudo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Independente FC's Fernando Lucas. But to his dismay, Fernando Lucas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Isidoro Bermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilson Duarte went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. The supporters of Independente FC booed when SopinkIYCerebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Fernando Lucas made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Bermudo. SopinkIYCerebro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Marcelo Gröhe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dmitriy Podrezov, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Independente FC were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leandro Blai kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Lucas got free with Isidoro Bermudo in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eulalio Chap charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eulalio Chap the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eulalio Chap kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, SopinkIYCerebro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Cordarius to maneuver through the defense. When Gonzalo Chayo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SopinkIYCerebro's protests and gave Gonzalo Chayo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Independente FC booed when SopinkIYCerebro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Chayo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidoro Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Gustavo Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fernando Lucas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidoro Bermudo came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Lucas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-10 in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, SopinkIYCerebro's Tomas Roderigo got a free kick in the 70th minute. SopinkIYCerebro's Isidoro Bermudo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Lucas in the 72nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Lucas in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Bermudo saved SopinkIYCerebro from getting behind. A collision led to SopinkIYCerebro getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eulalio Chap hit a great ball. Nilson Duarte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Isidoro Bermudo. SopinkIYCerebro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugenio Xacintu during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, SopinkIYCerebro's Eugenio Xacintu got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute, Fernando Lucas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Bermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. The audience was convinced that Fernando Lucas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Bermudo was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Isidoro Bermudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilson Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Nilson Duarte made a precise shot to the right of Isidoro Bermudo. SopinkIYCerebro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-12. Independente FC played a much better game than SopinkIYCerebro and deserved their victory. The SopinkIYCerebro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
