Atletico Aragua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renato Nunez-Tesheira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Guerreiro in the 22nd minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Haitz Langarica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tasso Tegeborg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Haitz Langarica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Elisabeth came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Aragua FC's Renato Nunez-Tesheira. But to his dismay, Renato Nunez-Tesheira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Arthur Elisabeth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Collins in the 35th minute of play. Fors Melodiae Lumen's Arthur Elisabeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Acebal in the 36th minute of play. When Roger Forsell fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fors Melodiae Lumen's protests and gave Roger Forsell a yellow card for diving instead. In the 38th minute, Roger Forsell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Elisabeth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnold Collins went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Miguel Echavarria kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tasso Tegeborg to strike the kick off in the second half. Arthur Elisabeth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Collins in the 52nd minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, Fors Melodiae Lumen's goal looked a bit too open when Arnold Collins came free, but Arthur Elisabeth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fors Melodiae Lumen's Arthur Elisabeth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro Acebal in the 56th minute of play.
