Rua da Pinga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gelu Zglobiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Matei Cârstea put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Adérito Vilaça. The supporters of Carp Team booed when Rua da Pinga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gelu Zglobiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelu Zglobiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adérito Vilaça came out and tried to block the shot, but Gelu Zglobiu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 23rd minute. Carp Team's Deyan Tătăruşanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Etienne Krummenacher in the 28th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Carp Team's Gelu Zglobiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adérito Vilaça. Adérito Vilaça yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. A hard shot 41 in the game by Matei Cârstea from a close distance when the talented Adérito Vilaça managed to make a qualified save. Rua da Pinga's players were relieved. Cezary Karpinski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deyan Tătăruşanu having to interfere. Deyan Tătăruşanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Krummenacher in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Deyan Tătăruşanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Etienne Krummenacher in the 52nd minute. Matei Cârstea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Rua da Pinga's Júlio Fragoso got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, Rua da Pinga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Fragoso to maneuver through the defense. The Carp Team fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Carp Team's Matei Cârstea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 61st minute Neil Tutorskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adérito Vilaça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Matei Cârstea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Adérito Vilaça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 66th minute, Gelu Zglobiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carp Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 74 minutes of play, Carp Team's Gelu Zglobiu made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adérito Vilaça was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Zglobiu in the 78th minute of play forced Rua da Pinga's goalkeeper Adérito Vilaça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adérito Vilaça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matei Cârstea in the 79th minute of play. Adérito Vilaça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matei Cârstea, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Sidónio Pacheco hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Carp Team's Deyan Tătăruşanu got control of the ball when Etienne Krummenacher tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 91st minute, Marcos Conde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Zsolt Major managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carp Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zsolt Major was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matei Cârstea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adérito Vilaça having to interfere.
