Chupan Lopez didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 59th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Chupan Lopez ran dejectedly back to his position. Adérito Vilaça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César Prats, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Chupan Lopez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Adérito Vilaça. That made the score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chupan Lopez got free with Adérito Vilaça in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 played minutes OMNI Club got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Eguntsenti. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Etienne Krummenacher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rua da Pinga's supporters rose to their feet, but Etienne Krummenacher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarcísio Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chupan Lopez got free with Adérito Vilaça in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adérito Vilaça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Luz went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Rua da Pinga's Adérito Vilaça got control of the ball when Chupan Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 98 minutes into the match, Chupan Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adérito Vilaça. Rua da Pinga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chupan Lopez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The OMNI Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing OMNI Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
