In the 7th minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Chiuzbaian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Keegan in the 7th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhao Sen Yangs short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Karl-Erik Norström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zhao Sen Yang had several of the Skövde AIK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 8 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Karl-Erik Norström as he didn't even see the shot coming. 11 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl-Erik Norström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skövde AIK's goalie prevented a goal. Skövde AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Zhao Sen Yang scored to the left of an out of position Karl-Erik Norström, making the score, 2-0. Petre Iftode received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Erik Norström came out and tried to block the shot, but Petre Iftode slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 35th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Brolin to maneuver through the defense. Karl-Erik Norström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 36th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Olov Ahlbeck. 39 minutes into the game, Zhao Sen Yang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Erik Norström. Zhao Sen Yang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. With a little luck, Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström got control of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petre Iftode kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Zhao Sen Yang made the kick off in the second half. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Krister Uggstedt in the 51 minute of the game. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 53rd minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Hamrin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 62 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl-Erik Norström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. Kevin Keegan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Karl-Erik Norström came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Karl-Erik Norström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Primitivo Grau in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Erik Norström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Iftode in the 85th minute of play forced Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Norström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Chen Ao Fan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ivan Chiuzbaian, 8-1. 95 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang notched a goal, 9-1, to the right of Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström. Karl-Erik Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
