With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hansjörg Wastl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 36 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Hamrin. In the 37th minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Norberto Prata dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Valdemar Tepedino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Erik Norström came out and tried to block the shot, but Valdemar Tepedino slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 40th minute.
